Intelligent Water Systems (IWS) Challenge

 

The Intelligent Water Systems (IWS) Challenge invites water/wastewater professionals, academic institutions, and college students (both undergraduate and graduate level) to develop and showcase innovative projects and solutions focused on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in intelligent water systems. Key areas of interest include digital twins, soft sensors, predictive AI/ML and hybrid models, and other advanced technologies that contribute to the evolution of water management systems. 

Participants are encouraged to design cutting-edge solutions that leverage AI/ML technologies to enhance water/wastewater management through an IWS framework. Whether aiming to optimize system performance, enhance predictive maintenance, or develop advanced monitoring tools, this challenge provides a platform to make significant contributions to the industry.

The IWS Challenge is hosted in conjunction with the Illinois Wastewater Professionals Conference (IWPC), offering participants the opportunity to present their work to an audience of industry leaders and experts.
