IWPC technical sessions are approved by IEPA Total Credit Hours (TCH) and are eligible for PDH’s (professional development hours). By having the QR code on your badge scanned at each session you attend, you will receive a transcript showing what you attended, how many credits you earned, and the IEPA Course Number.
Credit hours will be tracked based on time in each session. Most sessions are 30 minutes long plus Q&A. A transcript documenting .5 PDH/TCH will be issued for each session where the scanned attendance time is equal to 25 minutes or longer. Partial credit for 30 minute technical sessions will not be given.
TCH - Operator Continuing Education - Illinois operators can use the issued transcript with course numbers to easily log their operator educational requirements earned on IEPA’s OpCert page.
PDH - Illinois is a self-reporting state. Therefore, you need only keep track of the sessions you attend and place this information in your files. Your IWPC transcript makes this easy. Click here for full rules for professional development hours in Illinois.
Transcripts will be issued to your email within two weeks from the end of the conference.

IWPC made the move to a conference app a few years ago as a environmentally and cost effective way to provide attendees with the most up to date information and add additional networking pathways. The cost of both the preparation and production of printed programs was high both in terms of both dollars and volunteer hours.
