Speaker Guidelines

Presentation Format

As part of the presentation proposal submission process, you agree to present if selected by the IWPC Program Committee. If you become unable to present, please notify the  Program Committee Chair. An alternative presenter may be substituted. 

Presentation time is 30 minutes followed by Q&A.

Speakers are required to register for the conference. Registration opens December 15, 2025. Early bird registration ends January 31, 2026. 

By agreeing to present, you are agreeing to the IWPC Participation Policies regarding health, wellbeing, and respectful participation.  


Speaker Presentation Deadlines and Upload Instructions

Presentation acceptance status will be emailed to speakers by mid-November

Presentation slides must be forwarded by February 15, 2026.

Forward presentations and related questions to Chris Buckley.


Conference App

IWPC's conference app is hosted on CrowdComms. 

A unique CrowdComms speaker link will be sent to you when your confirmation is received. 

Log in, or if new to CrowdComms, create a log-in. Please note the same email must be used in the app that was used for the presentation proposal or the system will not recognize you. Please contact ExecMgr@iweasite.org if you need assistance with email issues. 

It is recommended that you fill our your profile as soon as convenient for maximum networking and exposure. 

When available, check your presentation listing in the agenda and notify Chris Buckley of any corrections. 


At The Conference

There are two speaker ready rooms available for your use. They are located on the 2nd Floor of the hotel, and are connected to the conference center via a walkway.


IWEA Best Technical Presentation Award

This award acknowledges outstanding presentations at the Illinois Wastewater Professionals Conference. The award recipient is chosen based on evaluations submitted by conference attendees.
